Starting on August 29th we will be offering a new Bible Information Class at OSL.

This course is based on the chapters of a marvelous book written by one of our retired seminary professors - Prof. John Jeske. In Connecting Sinai to Calvary, Professor Jeske does a superb job of showing God’s great grace, mercy, and love tracing from Adam and Eve through the Old Testament to our New Testament era. The book begins with Adam and Eve after they had sinned, follows the promise of a Savior, then discusses the unconditional covenant that God made with Abraham. It continues with the second covenant, a conditional covenant given to the people of Israel at Sinai, then proceeds to the final covenant to all Christian believers through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In addition to studying some fascinating sections of Old Testament Scripture we will seek to review our basic teachings. If at the conclusion of this course you would find yourself agreeing with what we are teaching from God’s Word and would like to declare fellowship with us through membership at OSL we would welcome that wholeheartedly! Regardless, we all will still have benefited immensely from spending time in God’s Word together - always a worthwhile endeavor.
