Join us on the evening of Sunday, March 7th at 7:00 pm as we welcome the Bethany Lutheran College Concert and Jazz bands to OSL.

The Concert Band will be bringing music from different parts of the world. There will be selections from “Les Misérables,” two Irish tunes from the soundtrack of “Titanic,” Jewish music from the Klezmer tradition, a Spanish “paso doble”, and the Procession of the Sardar from Ipolitov-ivanov’s “Caucasian Sketches.” Of course, there will also be music from “Home Sweet Home” with the Lake Washington Suite (by a Minnesota composer John Zdechlik), the Commando march by Samuel Barber, and the Bugler’s Holiday by Leroy Anderson. The Jazz Band will present music ranging from the swing tradition to rock, and will also turn international with a rendition of Malagueña.
